I came here looking for a coffee alternative for my partner. I think you’re onto something great! Coconut oil, coconut milk and other fats suit this intermittent fasting lifestyle well, however anything containing protein (such as collagen and bone broth) will raise blood sugar and therefore insulin levels, effectively breaking the fasted state (metabolically speaking) and the same goes for carbs (such as sweeteners, artificial sweeteners and even plant milks that especially have any additives for anyone who is curious). I’m not sure how additives such as cinnamon or other spices would work, I suspect this would be on an individual basis, where one would need to find out using a blood glucose monitor to be sure they’re in fasted state with such additives. Thanks for the great suggestions and I look forward to checking out more of your recipes!

I do the green plan which allows 30 points a day. There's a lot of salads, turkey, and chicken bread. I also try to incorporate a lot of free low-carb fruits and vegetables. I've gotten the collagen at TJ Maxx and also nutritional stores like Vitamin Shoppe and GNC.

Bullet proof tea sounds good. Where do you get the collagen peptides? That's a lot of points for weight watchers though. How do you combine the two successfully? I have 23 points a day. I'm trying to go more lowcarb and sugarless.
