In reply to <a href="https://lowcarbyum.com/chocolate-walnut-fudge/#comment-56006">Jennifer</a>.

Jennifer, I used Laird Superfood, creamer (unsweetened) in place of the LC-Sweetened Condensed Milk mix the recipe called for (because I haven't received my LC-Sweetened Condensed Milk I purchased through Lisa's link yet). It turned out DIVINE! Even my mom LOVED it. She can't believe its low carb fudge!...and honestly neither can I, its the best I've EVER tasted (and I've been eating low carb for about 27 years!).

This is the best walnut fudge I’ve ever had in my 20 some years of eating low carb!
I almost didn’t try it because I’ve been disappointed SO many times before with BOTH the flavor AND texture (but especially the texture!)of low carb fudge.

This recipe is most definitely a FIVE star recipe! WOW!
Thank you SO very much for your expertise Lisa! I can DEFINITELY tell you worked in a candy and nut shop preparing fudge.

You are a prodigy!
I am conquering a serious autoimmune condition and so your recipe is literally helping me stay on course, giving me the type of options I need every once in a while to heal.

I’m looking forward to trying your other recipes. If they are as exceptional as this one I will be buying one of your books.
You deserve to prosper in your field!

Much love and Shalom to you and your home!

Thanks you, sincerely!

P. S. I used 4 TBSs of organic grass fed and finished whey and it worked perfectly.

The recipe calls for a specific powdered condensed milk mix which is not dairy-free. You could try using coconut cream and some coconut flour or dessicated coconut. But, there's no guarantee it will work out. You may need to make some other changes.

Lisa, my apologies, I sent you that link for condensed milk BEFORE I just took a closer look at this recipe and saw what you wrote in the first paragraph, which is that the LC Foods milk product added an important component to the fudge, duh! Sorry about that.
I' ve always liked LC Foods products myself....
Anyway, I get it now, lol!
Thanks again,
Leigh

In reply to <a href="https://lowcarbyum.com/chocolate-walnut-fudge/#comment-24405">Lisa</a>.

Lisa, thats good to know, that it's as good as it looks! It's going to be my first recipe after I get over the beginners stages of my anti-candida diet :-))
And to show my appreciation, I want to share this recipe for LC milk? I'm not sure if you have a recipe for it, but when I clicked the link for the LC milk, it went to the Amazon product.....
but this one is quick and easy, and you can do it all at home. It's by Carolyn F. at Low Carb Friends, who is very good, and her recipe got glowing comments. Here it is:

So thanks again Lisa, I'm now on your email list!
