Absolutely Chris! I sometimes toss in one or two teaspoons of granular instead when making this avocado smoothie. If needed, I have an easy keto sweetener conversion calculator that you can use to substitute.

I made this substituting the water for almond milk (unsweetened), used swerve as the sweetener and added a tsp of chia seeds. It blended up quite thick, almost like a thick yoghurt consistency, so I added a little more milk but it's still quite thick. It tastes really nice and I've been searching for a good smoothie recipe that doesn't taste awful or is full of fruits (which I can't eat at the moment). You could definitely make and freeze this for an icy treat.

I want to make a bone meal based breakfast smoothie for two people. Our goal is to cut carbs a near zero as possible (using the total carbs minus the fiber = net carbs formula). Also, as near totally sugar free as possible. Nearly all of the stevia leaf based sweeteners I've found on the shelf have some form of sugar derivative in them. Also, I haven't found any frozen fruits/berries/cherries that don't contain in excess of 2 grams sugar.
What a dilemma!! Carbs and sugars of any kind will nullify the ketogenic effect if I understand the science correctly.
What must we do!!
