Kim, this shake is fine for diabetics. There's only 7g total carbs (4g net if you subtract the fiber). Greek yogurt also has fewer carbs than stated on the label as most of the sugar has been consumed by the culture. You could sub out the yogurt with half an avocado if desired.

Lisa;
Hi,this strawberry milkshake looks really good to drink.is it good for diabetics to drink at home? I am a type 2 diabetic,I am lactose intolerant so I can't drink regular 1 or 2 percent milk.i use natrel milk,natrel ice cream,no sugar added ice cream,almond milk,coconut milk,protein powder,fruit like strawberry cherry frozen fruit,2 packets of stevia powder that I put in my one person magic bullet blender.
I can't put honey or maple syrup in my shakes or smoothies,I use put avocado,protein powder,almond milk,coconut milk,natrel milk,frozen fruit,yogurt,and 2 stevia powder packets in my smoothies with chia seed powder to keep my blood sugar under control,along with going for long walks around the city where I live as well as walk around one of the several walls in the city where I live.

Hi, found this and made a *few* changes. I used 1 cup of Greek yorgurt, no almond milk, 1/2 cup of whipping cream, 2 tblsp of cream cheese, 2 tblsp of MCT oil, 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries, 2 tblsp of cocoa powder, 4 packets of Truvia, and 1/2 cup of water. It tastes awesome! How about the nutrition facts of this concoction...anyone?

This looks really great, very cool and creamy. I love unsweetened almond milk (I use blue diamond, every day). To me it's the most versatile dairy substitute.
