Just a public service announcement. I was happily making my tuna salad this evening as usual, and I happened to look down at my can of tuna after emptying it and the label said something I had not seen before. Great Value tuna in water, mind you. Walmart's brand, now has 3 carbs. Ingredients are now tuna, water, vegetable broth, and salt. I felt a little betrayed to be honest, lol. Suddenly there are 3 carbs in there that have never been there before. Also a warning that it may contain soy? I'm a label reader and I KNOW they showed 0 carbs before, I just don't know when this changed, because I hadn't looked at this particular label in a long time, trusting consumer that I am... so needless to say, since what used to just be tuna, water and salt is now a random source of additional carbs, I will begin purchasing the slightly more expensive brands of tuna. I just thought others might want to know this, especially if they are counting carb intake very meticulously, like I did years ago...

This sounds wonderful, but I have one question. How can there only be 3 gr of protein? By my calculations, the eggs have 18 (6 gr each times 3), and the tuna has 70 (I looked up Starkist Chunk Light in water), so that's 88 altogether. Divide that by 6 servings and you get closer to 15 grams of protein. Did I figure that right?

I've used avocado in place of mayo so you could try that. It might be too sour with all sour cream, but you could add in a little sweetener to offset that.
