Ingredients

  • 1 pound mushrooms any variety you prefer halved
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • fresh rosemary for marinating and garnish

Instructions

  • If the mushrooms are too large, you can cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, and a few sprigs of fresh rosemary. Mix well.
  • Add the mushrooms to the marinade and toss until they are well coated. Allow the mushrooms to marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour to enhance the flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for a few minutes.
  • Place the marinated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If needed, you can cook them in batches to ensure even cooking.
  • Cook the mushrooms in the air fryer for approximately 8- 10 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the mushrooms halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. The exact cooking time may vary depending on the size and type of mushrooms you are using, so keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
  • Once the mushrooms are tender and golden brown, remove them from the air fryer and garnish with fresh rosemary.
  • Serve with lemon wedges as a side dish, appetizer, or add them to salads or pasta dishes as desired.

Notes

  • Make sure the mushrooms are well coated in the marinade to ensure flavorful results.
  • You can adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences. Feel free to add additional herbs or spices if desired.
  • Experiment with different mushroom varieties for unique flavors and textures.
  • Leftover air fryer mushrooms can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
