Place loose leaf tea, chai masala spice blend, and sweetener (if using) in the basket of a teapot or in a tea filter bag.
Pour hot water and warmed almond milk over. Allow to sit for 3 to 5 minutes to brew the tea then serve into tea cup. Sprinkle on additional spices if desired.
The almond milk can be quickly warmed in the microwave by cooking 1 to 2 minutes at 50% power until warmed.
For a very flavorful masala chai tea, try adding in additional spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
If you want a stronger tea, you can brew it for a few minutes longer to extract even more flavor.
You can froth your milk with an immersion blender or a normal blender for a fancy keto masala chai. You could also whisk it by hand to froth it up.
If you want to have this delicious chai tea on hand, you can always make it ahead of time. It will last in the fridge for up to two days.
