Protein Ice Cream

Whip up a batch of this protein ice cream whenever an ice cream craving strikes. This recipe tastes just like Halo Top and is made without any artificial preservatives.

Ingredients

  • 30 ounces unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cup keto friendly flavored protein powder we used chocolate peanut butter flavor

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a well greased loaf pan.
  • Freeze for several hours until hardened.
  • Once frozen solid, remove for 10-15 minutes from the freezer before serving.

Notes

If you like a sweeter ice cream, you can add in 2 tablespoons of powdered sweetener.
Let protein ice cream thaw before serving. After it is frozen solid, let it sit out for about 10 minutes before serving it.
Grease the loaf pan. You can also use parchment paper. This ice cream tends to stick to the pan.
