This easy recipe has all the classic Indian flavors you love. It's a flavorful chicken dish with a combination of garam masala and Greek yogurt.

Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and place it into a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients for the chicken and toss to combine and coat well. Cover with plastic wrap and set in the fridge to marinate for at least half an hour before cooking.
Melt two tablespoons of the butter over medium high heat in a large high sided skillet on the stove. Place the marinated chicken into the skillet and cook on both sides until almost completely cooked through. Remove the chicken and keep warm.
Add another two tablespoons of butter to the skillet, and mix in 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon cumin, 3 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 2 teaspoon of ginger paste, and onion. Stir to combine and cook for 30 seconds.
Reduce the heat to medium and pour the crushed tomatoes and heavy whipping cream into the skillet. Simmer until the sauce has thickened.
Add the chicken back into the skillet and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
Stir the remaining two tablespoons of butter into the skillet and serve.
The meat will tenderize as it sits in the marinade. You can start the recipe early in the day or the night before and let it marinate for a good 10 to 16 hours.
To prevent the cream from curdling, the sauce should be kept at a low simmer and not allowed to reach boiling.
