Place chocolate hazelnut spread in freezer for 15 to 30 minutes
Chop hazelnuts, put in small shallow bowl, set aside
Take chilled chocolate hazelnut spread and scoop out into balls. Chill balls for at least 15 minutes in freezer.
Take balls out of freezer, insert 1 hazelnut into each, and roll into chopped hazel-nuts. Chill in freezer for at least 15 minutes.
While balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips.
Dip nut covered balls into melted chocolate, place on lined baking sheet, and chill until chocolate coating has hardened.
If you have a cookie dough scoop, it can be used to form the balls and isn't as messy as using your hands. The scoops would just have a flat bottom which they tend to have anyway when placing on the lined baking sheet.White chocolate baking chips and white chocolate hazelnut spread (both available from ChocZero) can be used for white chocolate hazelnut candy balls!
