This keto guacamole is creamy, slightly spicy, and makes a great appetizer or side dish. It's super-easy and naturally low-carb.

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados pits & flesh removed and mashed
  • juice from ½ a lime
  • ¼ cups diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 jalapeño deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 roma tomato chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  • Place the avocado flesh into a mixing bowl and mash well.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, and stir to combine well.
  • Serve with your favorite keto-friendly items for dipping.

Notes

Add poblano peppers for some extra heat.
Use a food processor to purée the avocado to your desired consistency for creamy guacamole.
Wrap in plastic wrap and keep the wrap flush with the guacamole - this will keep the avocado green for as long as possible.
