Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup red onion diced
  • ¼ cup mushrooms sliced
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper diced
  • ¼ cup black olives sliced
  • ¼ cup pepperoni sliced
  • ¼ cup Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup homemade sugar free pizza sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, shredded Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly as the base in the cast iron skillet.
  • Pour the homemade tomato sauce over the cheese mixture, spreading it evenly.
  • Layer the toppings, including sliced black olives, pepperoni, cooked Italian sausage, and any other desired ingredients, over the tomato sauce.
  • Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
  • Serve the keto pizza dip warm with keto-friendly dippers like cucumber slices, celery sticks, or almond flour crackers.

Notes

  • Feel free to add or substitute ingredients like sliced jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or other low-carb vegetables.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to make it easier to mix with other ingredients.
  • Adjust the cooking time as needed, keeping an eye on the cheese to ensure it is melted and slightly golden.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
  • You can experiment with different types of cheeses in the base. Try adding some shredded cheddar, Gouda, or even a sprinkle of blue cheese for added flavor.
  •  If you enjoy heat, consider adding some crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to give the dip a spicy kick.
