Enjoy a cool and refreshing glass of cucumber infused water to beat the heat outside. There are no added sugars or sweeteners in this cucumber water.

Ingredients

  • 15 g mint leaves or use noted substitutes
  • 1 medium cucumber peeled and sliced (see note)
  • 2 quarts water

Instructions

  • Place mint leaves in pitcher and press with wooden spoon to slightly mash up.
  • Stir in cucumber and water.
  • Place in refrigerator for at least an hour.

Notes

To get the most health benefit, it's best to leave the peel on the cucumber as it contains nutrients.
Let the mixture sit for several hours to ensure enough flavor has infused into the water.
Any of the following can be added to or used in place of the mint:
  • Raspberries
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Lemon Slices
  • Lime Slices
  • Basil Leaves
  • Ginger
The cucumbers in the water are great to snack on too!
