Blend with electric mixer or food processor until well mashed and at desired consistency. Add additional low carb milk if needed. Stir in salt and pepper to taste.
Be sure to boil the turnips until they are tender enough to mash. The pieces should be about the same size so they reach that point at the same time.For those who aren't following a paleo or dairy-free diet, butter and cream can be used in place of the coconut oil and dairy-free low carb milk.For added flavor, add in some roasted garlic similar to what was added in the mashed cauliflower recipe with celery root.
