It takes only a couple minutes with 3 ingredients to make an easy and refreshing low carb margarita. It's a welcome drink after a long work day.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Lime juice (about 1 lime) additional for garnish if desired
  • 1 tablespoon Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Swerve Confectioners Powdered Sweetener or low carb sweetener of your choice
  • 3 oz. Tequila
  • Ice
  • Salt for lining the rim of your glass

Instructions

  • Squeeze the juice of one lime into a small bowl.
  • Place the warm water and Swerve sweetener into another bowl and whisk to combine well.
  • Pour the tequila, sweetener syrup and lime juice into a shaker cup or mason jar, and shake well to combine.
  • Wet the rim of your cocktail glasses, and line with coarse salt.
  • Place the ice into your glasses.
  • Separate the margarita mixture evenly between your two cocktail glasses and serve with a garnish of fresh lime.

More or less sweetener can be added if desired without affecting the finished result.
