Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of a crockpot.
  • Pour the chicken broth on top.
  • Sprinkle the garlic and onion powder over the chicken.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Remove the chicken, shred and use for meal prep as needed.

Notes

Chicken should easily shred using two forks. Or you can place the chicken in a mixing bowl and use the beaters of an electric mixer to shred it.
To make the chicken spicier, add some red pepper flakes.
Double the broth and add some vegetables for a keto chicken soup!
Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and in the freezer for up to 6 months.
