Ingredients needed
Here's everything that goes into these tasty seasoned salmon bites.
Salmon fillets
The base of this recipe is skinless salmon fillets chopped up into bite-sized salmon cubes.
A salmon fillet is a wonderful keto protein because it's carb-free and a great source of omega-3 fatty acids.
Olive oil
Olive oil gives these salmon bites marinade great flavor and fat content. It also helps get the bites extra crispy and brown!
Sugar-free honey
For a bit of sweetness, I like to use sugar-free honey in my marinade. This keto honey is made with monk fruit and allulose for a naturally sweet, low-carb ingredient.
Soy sauce
Soy sauce is an awesome pantry staple because it's low-carb and full of umami flavor!
A bit of soy sauce makes these air-fried salmon bites salty and delightful.
Seasoning
To amp up the flavor profile, I add simple seasonings, including paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper, to my marinade.
This spice combination works in so many recipes, and these salmon bites are no exception!

Prep your air fryer
Start by preheating your air fryer to 400 degrees. This high heat is important to get your salmon bites nice and crispy.
Also, take a moment to grease your air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
Mix your marinade
Next, add your marinade ingredients to a mixing bowl, including olive oil, honey, soy sauce, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk your ingredients until combined.
Then, add your salmon chunks and toss, coating them in the tasty marinade. Let them marinate until the air fryer is done preheating.
Air fry salmon bites
Now, it's as simple as letting the air fryer do its magic!
Add the coated salmon bites to the air fryer basket and fry for 6-8 minutes. The salmon should be crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
Garnish and serve!
Finally, garnish the air fryer salmon bites with a bit of chopped parsley for color and brightness.
And voila – you're ready to dig in!

FAQs
These are a few common questions I get about my air fryer salmon bites recipe. If you don't see your question answered, please leave it for me in the comments down below.
I recommend you cook your salmon bites for 6-8 minutes in the air fryer. This will depend on your temperature setting and specific air fryer; they all cook a little differently.
The first time you try this recipe, err on the side of caution and check the nuggets at the 6-minute mark. Crispy and cooked-through salmon means it's time to eat!
In the air fryer, I find that 400 degrees Fahrenheit is the sweet spot for salmon.
Any lower and your salmon won't get that beautiful, crispy outer layer. Any higher, and you're at risk of charring before the salmon can cook through!
When cooking salmon in the air fryer, always place the skin side down. Bonus – you won't have to flip your salmon halfway through! Make sure to grease your pan well to avoid sticking.

I made these for the first time on BLTs with garden fresh tomatoes. The salmon was amazing, and stood out on the Salmon BLT. I'll be cooking a LOT more salmon this way in the air fryer!
