Why you'll love it
This is the best spinach dip recipe you will ever find!
You might be missing the enjoyment of chips and dip since tortilla chips are a bit too high in carbs for ketogenic dieters.
When you make this extra creamy dip, skip the chips and use vegetables or pork rinds instead for dipping. It's so tasty that you can eat it right out of the dish with a spoon.
If you are hosting a party on game day, a low carb spinach dip is a natural crowd pleaser.
Whether you are looking for an easy recipe for parties or want a cheesy snack when salty cravings hit, this is a great dip for you.
There is very little prep work. You could chop up the spinach, but it's optional. Even with the big pieces of spinach, the dip will be a huge hit.
So, if you like spinach and cheese as much as I do, you are going to really enjoy this yummy low-carb spinach dip the whole family will love.
Ingredients
Here is what you'll need in order to make this hot spinach dip recipe. They are simple ingredients that you'll easily find at the store.
Butter
The cheese is plenty salty, so you don't need to use salted butter. Unsalted butter will work best.
Garlic
Use whole cloves of garlic for the fullest flavor.
Baby spinach
It's surprising how much spinach you'll add to this dip. It wilts, so even if you use what you think is a lot of spinach, it isn't too much.
Parmesan cheese
The nutty flavors in the parmesan taste impeccably perfect with the cream cheese.
Mozzarella cheese
This cheese melts beautifully! It's mild and salty and really elevates the dip.
Cream cheese
When you are on the keto diet, it's best to use full-fat cream cheese in this dip. Your body will use the fat for fuel.
Almond milk
A bit of almond milk prevents the hot spinach dip from being too thick. It's perfectly dip-able this way.
Please note: Check out the recipe card at the bottom for a full list of ingredients used to make this low-carb recipe.

Tips
- Chop the baby spinach in a food processor first. This hot spinach cheese dip is very cheesy, but the spinach pieces were a bit large.
- Do not burn the garlic. Only saute it until it releases its aromas.
- Melt cheese over low heat. If you heat it over high heat, the cheese could burn.
Instructions
Making cream cheese and spinach dip is easier than ever. Just look at the simple steps!
Melt butter with garlic and spinach
To make this yummy concoction, you'll first melt the butter in a pan. Then add the minced garlic and baby spinach until the leaves are wilted. Add the seasonings.
Add cream cheese
Next, add the block of cream cheese to the hot pan. Mix in some unsweetened almond milk.
Transfer to spinach mixture
Transfer the hot creamy mixture to the saucepan with the buttery spinach mixture.
Mix in more cheese
To make the dip super cheesy, mix in a little bit of parmesan and a bunch of mozzarella cheese.
Bake the dip
Spread the into a prepared baking dish. Place it in the preheated oven.
The low-carb hot spinach dip should be nicely browned in about 20 minutes and ready to serve with your choice of veggies or low-carb chips. I typically opt for crunchy pork rinds.
